It is with sadness that we confirm that Sir Colin Harrison, the Grandson of our Founder Sir John Harrison, died peacefully at home recently after a long term illness. His ashes are to be scattered on the River Tweed where he had enjoyed fishing for over 40 years.
Sir Colin was the last of the Harrison family to be involved with the business and is remembered by all those who knew him as a true gentleman, one of the good guys whose word you could trust truly was his bond. Colin had a real love for the business that bore his family name and a strong belief in the Harrison team.
Although this is the end of an era, the family name lives on and Harrison will remain rightly proud of its heritage.
